Livermore, CA
As our original campus, BratPak Livermore established a higher standard for structured, behavior-based dog care in the East Bay. From the beginning, we moved away from chaotic, volume-driven models and built an environment centered on thoughtful social placement, purposeful supervision, and helping dogs develop genuine confidence. Today, families throughout Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin, and the entire Tri-Valley trust the model that started it all.
what makes bratpak different?
NOT A WAREHOUSE.
NOT A FREE-FOR-ALL.
Built on Behavioral Expertise & Structure:
It all starts with our one-of-a-kind professional behavioral evaluation
Based on our assessment, dogs are thoughtfully placed into compatible social groups.
All play is actively supervised at all times. (And you can watch on our live cameras!)
We prioritize the comfort and emotional stability of each individual dog.
Social exposure is structured at each dog’s pace, to build confidence — not overwhelm.
How the bratpak model works
1. professional evaluation
Before boarding approval, each dog is professionally assessed via our FREE New Kamper Orientation, where we evaluate your pup’s separation anxiety, social confidence, play style, and ability to feel comfortable around other dogs.
2. careful group placement
Each dog is thoughfully matched to compatible play groups based on size, temperament, play style, and confidence level. This intentional placement helps prevent overwhelm, reduce conflict, and create positive social experiences for each dog in our care.
3. supervised play and social coaching
Play isn’t just monitored for safety — it’s guided in a way that reinforces healthy social behaviors. We actively supervise to ensure interactions remain safe, balanced, and appropriate for each dog’s temperament and energy level. It’s the very reason our motto is — “Where Happy Dogs Learn & Play.”

Your Dog Comes Home Happy
— Not Overwhelmed
Dogs thrive when they feel secure, understood, and appropriately challenged. Our structured environment is designed not just for activity, but for emotional balance — so your dog returns home happy, confident, and peacefully tired rather than overstimulated or overwhelmed.
THE FOUR PILLARS OF A BALANCED DAY
Comfort-First Focus: At BratPak, we prioritize emotional safety and comfort level of each individual dog so they feel secure, not pressured or overwhelmed.
Structured Stimulation: Play and interaction are intentionally paced and supervised to provide healthy engagement without tipping into chaos. Just the right amount of fun!
Proper Rest: Dogs are given cage-free opportunities to decompress and settle throughout the day, allowing their nervous systems to reset so they don’t leave overstimulated or depleted.
Non-Chaotic Volume: We focus on quality of the dogs’ experience over the quantity of dogs, avoiding overcrowded, free-for-all environments that can create unnecessary stress and bad habits.

built on behavioral insight
We believe confident behavior begins with understanding canine social dynamics — how dogs communicate, regulate energy, and respond within a group. Through structured exposure and thoughtful supervision, dogs gain positive social experiences at a pace they can handle. By prioritizing comfort before stimulation, we help build emotional stability first — so confidence develops naturally rather than through overwhelm.
