Training FAQ

Straight answers about private training.

Do you offer dog training in Livermore, CA?

+
Yes. BratPak Dog Kamp offers private, in-home dog training throughout Livermore and the Tri-Valley — including Pleasanton, Dublin, San Ramon, Danville, Alamo, Mountain House and Tracy. Our trainer comes to your home, where your dog actually lives.

How much does dog training cost in Livermore?

+
Private in-home dog training in Livermore typically ranges from $150–$250 per session depending on package length and goals. Unlike board-and-train programs that often cost $3,000–$8,000+, we don't lock you into long contracts.

Do you offer puppy training in Livermore and the Tri-Valley?

+
Yes. Puppy training is one of the best investments you can make. We focus on socialization, potty training, crate training, bite inhibition, leash manners, and the early foundations that prevent behavior problems later.

Can you help with a reactive dog in Livermore?

+
Yes — reactive and aggressive dog behavior is a specialty. Whether your dog lunges on leash, fence-fights, or has bitten before, we build a behavior modification plan in the real-world Tri-Valley environments where the issues happen.

Do you offer board-and-train in Livermore?

+
No. We disagree with the board-and-train model — dogs learn in context and behavior change has to involve the owner. Read our blog for a detailed breakdown of why we don't offer board-and-train.

What dog training methods do you use?

+
We follow the LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) framework — reward-based learning and clear communication, never fear or force.

We've been taking our dog to BratPak Dog Kamp since 2021, and they've been incredible. Mante is treated like family and we wouldn't trust anyone else with him. The team is professional, communicative and the facility is always immaculate.

My dog Winston has been going to Daycare for the last couple months and loves it! He looks forward to playing with all the other pups and he comes home tired! The staff is great and they constantly update their IG with pictures of the pups.

Sean was absolutely wonderful. We recently got a 4 month old American Pitbull XL and have a 1 year old Shih Tzu. Sean sat with us for 45 minutes and very carefully worked through training. Truly knowledgeable and patient.

I truly can't say enough good things about BratPak. I've been searching for a trusted dog facility for a while and I'm so happy I found this place. The staff was so patient and kind with me and Dutch.

We tried a few different daycares for our golden retriever puppies. They love this place so much that they run to the gated entrance. We drive over 30 min to take our pups here because it's worth it.

Our dog, Minnie, loves BratPak. Every time I drop her off she goes right through the gate with the attendant without looking back, tail wagging. They take very good care of her.
